The Conference is the leading annual forum in the United States for researchers studying heart development and congenital heart disease. Topics presented include: cardiac muscle and non-muscle cell differentiation in the heart, regulation of cardiac and vascular development, physiological function in the developing heart, the epidemiology and genetics of congenital heart disease. Participants include basic scientists, pediatric cardiologists, adult cardiologists and engineers. The most recent meeting in Dallas, Texas attracted approximately 300 participants from throughout the US, Europe and Asia. In order to keep the focus on new and important information in the field, speakers are selected from submitted abstracts. All participants are expected to pay their own costs to attend the meeting.
