Expectations
Students will be assigned to a faculty mentor in the Department of Oncological Sciences at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. If students express their interest in a specific or general area of research the program director will try to accommodate student preferences when making mentor assignments and research placements.
All research projects require the student's full-time commitment. Each nonattendance must be
discussed in advance with the student's mentor. Attendance at weekly seminars given by Huntsman
Cancer Institute (HCI) investigators is mandatory. At the end of the program each student will give
an oral presentation of his or her research project. This session is open to all members of HCI. |
