Kristine Kokeny, MD

Assistant Professor, Radiation Oncology

Kristine Kokeny, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology and a physician at Huntsman Cancer Institute, where she is a member of the multidisciplinary teams caring for breast and lung cancer patients.

Her clinical specialties include radiation therapy for breast, lung, and genitourinary malignancies. She is interested in translational research and clinical trials in these areas, evaluating new therapies that may improve treatment outcome and survival.

Kokeny received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, followed by a residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center; she was chief resident from 1994 to 1995. She is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
