Luke Oliver Buchmann, MD

Assistant Professor, University of Utah School of Medicine

Luke Buchmann, MD, is an assistant professor at the University of Utah in the School of Medicine and a physician at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Buchmann focuses on the surgical management of head and neck tumors as well as the functional reconstruction of patients following head and neck tumor removal. His research interests focus on the function outcome of patients following head and neck cancer treatment as well as psychiatric sequelae of head and neck cancer therapy.

He earned a medical degree from the MCP Hanemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia. He completed a residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at the University of Kansas, Kansas City and completed fellowship training in head and neck oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.
