L. Ralph Rohr, MD

Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Pathology

Ralph Rohr, MD, is an associate professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He works with the breast cancer team and the gynecologic oncology team at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

In addition to breast and gynecologic oncology, Rohr's diverse research interests include pulmonary pathology and bone and soft tissue pathology, in which he has particular expertise. He served as co-investigator for two National Institutes of Health grants: Molecular and Cytogenetic Analysis of Prostatic Cancer and Cooperative Family Registry for Breast Cancer Studies.

Rohr received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology, and has served as a consultant in surgical pathology and cytopathology for the Associated Regional and University Pathologists since 1991. Rohr is a member of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, and received the residents' award for Outstanding Teacher in Anatomic Pathology in 1993 and 1997.
