My thesis project focuses on characterizing the genome wide epigenetic states of human sperm chromatin. Specifically, we are interested in teasing apart the poising mechanisms that may guide certain genes towards embryonic development.
When I am not busy western blotting and cloning, I enjoy defeating the bad guys in video games such as Mario and Halo. Cooking spicy Indian food, practicing Yoga and splurging on massages are a few ways I keep myself happy and sane!
