My project revolves around studying the mechanism of DNA-demethylation, specifically at the 5’-methyl-cytosine site in vertebrates. The focus of my thesis is to elucidate the proteins and their modification state involved in DNA-demethylation using biochemical methods.
When I’m not busy reading about the latest technologies in the field of cars and computers, I like to engage in sports such as badminton and karate.
