Pubmed: Literature search

Google Scholar: search service, providing the ability to search for scholarly literature located from across the web.

Biological databases: bioinformatics tools, and consulting in gene regulatory processes such as transcriptional control and signal transduction.

BioKnowledge Library: Six database volumes of biological information about proteins comprise BIOBASE's Proteome BioKnowledge Library. Each volume focuses on a different organism important in pharmaceutical research (cerevisae, pombe, worms, human, pathogenic fungi).

Scansite: Scansite searches for motifs within proteins that are likely to be phosphorylated by specific protein kinases or bind to domains such as SH2 domain.

Pfam: A large collection of multiple sequence alignments and trained hidden Markov models covering many common protein domains

ClustalW: Clustal W is a general purpose multiple sequence alignment program for DNA or proteins.

Pedro's Biomolecular Tools: Directory of useful information and services for the molecular biologist

WormBase Data bases on the genetics of C elegans and related nematodes

SGD: SGD is a scientific database of the molecular biology and genetics of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

FlyBase: A Database of the Drosophila Genome

ZFIN: The Zebrafish Information Network

OMIM: Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man, a database of human genes and genetic disorders

ORNL: Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Mutant Mouse Database (Genetics and Genomics Program)
