Flow Cytometry Resource Core Facility

Instrumentation services include both basic analyzers, which may be utilized by investigators and students, as well as a more sophisticated multi-laser cell sorter. A COPAS BIOSORT from Union Biometrica is also available to sort C. elegans worms and embryos. Included in the Core’s instrumentation services are a series of computer workstation, located throughout the medical center campus, containing software for the investigator’s use in the analysis of data files generated on the core’s flow cytometers. Technical services offered by the core include specimen staining, instrument operation and data analysis as well as technical consultation to those trying to develop flow cytometric assays in the course of their research program. Dr. Wayne Green directs the Flow Cytometry Core.
