Chemical Synthesis Core Facility
This core
provides a wide variety of molecules not commercially available. Chemicals
prepared by the facility include combinatorial peptide libraries, photoaffinity
labels, steroids, phospholipids, nucleoside analogues, acylglycerol analogues,
fluorescent bioconjugates, monomers for polymerization, and a variety
of radiolabeled ligands. In addition, the core offers consultative advice
on the design of organic syntheses. The core director is Dr.
Glenn Prestwich.
